Aircraft Mechanic Apprentice / Hangar Assistant

General office and administrative duties as needed
General labor
Facility cleaning
Parts inventory
Aircraft cleaning / detailing
Aircraft maintenance of small piston aircraft (under supervision)
Miscellaneous errands
Other duties as needed from time to time
For someone interested in becoming and aircraft mechanic, some apprenticeship time can be logged towards your mechanic certification in the future
$8-10 per hour

Requirements

Valid Texas Driver’s License and reliable transportation, ability to lift and carry 25 to 100 lbs, ability to stand, walk and bend for extended or continuous periods of time, ability to use and operate applicable hand and power tools and equipment, work in confined environments, and to climb ladders. Exposure to wide temperature variations, noise, vibrations, fumes, grease, machinery and its moving parts, odors, and dust. Must be available for occasional weekend, evening, or holiday duties as required from time to time. Background check and drug check required.
